I’m a big fan of this marble-effect dining table for its pared-back look and sturdy black frame - it brings a crisp, contemporary feel without being overly fussy. The slim metal legs give it an airy presence, so it works equally well in compact city flats or as a focal point in an open-plan kitchen-diner.
Styling-wise, it’s a blank canvas: layer a natural jute runner and mix in leather or timber chairs to soften the gloss of the top. Keep tableware simple - think matt ceramics or clear glass - and introduce a single sculptural vase or a low, green centrepiece to balance out the monochrome palette.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
