Description

The Erabar acacia and cane console table is a stylish way to elevate a hallway or living space. The attractive natural tones of acacia wood bring warmth to interior spaces. Beautiful in its simplicity, The Erabar features a sturdy top and a low woven cane shelf that is perfect for storage baskets or decorative ornaments.

Our Stylist Says

The Nkuku Erabar Acacia & Cane console is a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and rustic interiors, thanks to its natural oak and cane finish. I love how it brings warmth and texture without overwhelming the space, making it ideal for use as a media unit or TV stand. When styling, consider keeping the top surface minimal with a few decorative items like candles or a small plant, while utilising the lower shelf for baskets or storage baskets to keep things neat. Its clean lines and organic materials lend themselves well to Scandi, boho, or minimalist schemes, and it’s equally suited for a hallway or living room, adding a touch of craftsmanship and natural beauty.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
