Styling tip: keep the surface clear of clutter by choosing two or three objects of varying heights - a round mirror hung above, a ceramic vase with dried stems and a simple lamp work nicely. Grouping items in odds and mixing textures (glass, terracotta, metal) will add interest without overwhelming the chest’s pared-back look.
