Description

Achieve a bohemian-inspired aesthetic in your home with the Leo Rattan Table Lamp in Grey. Bask in the glorious ambient lighting that this table lamp emits whilst reading a book or watching your favourite show. The grey base and white shade makes this table lamp ideal for monochromatic and neutral homes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lamp because of its modern blend of natural and industrial elements, making it a versatile piece for a variety of interiors. The cast-iron leaf-inspired base adds texture and a touch of nature-inspired charm, while the grey shade keeps it neutral and understated. It works particularly well in contemporary, boho, or coastal schemes, where it can add a relaxed yet polished touch. Practical styling tips include placing it on a bedside table to create a cosy reading nook, or using it as an accent piece on a sideboard in a living room. Pair with neutral cushions and textured accessories to enhance its organic vibe, or let it stand out as a statement piece in a minimalist setting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
