Our Stylist Says
I love this floorstanding headboard for its plush velvet texture and versatile grey shade, making it a smart choice for a variety of bedroom styles. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors where clean lines and subtle luxe touches are key. For practical styling, consider pairing it with monochrome or muted bedding for a sleek look, or add colourful cushions and throws to bring in personality. Its substantial height creates a focal point without overwhelming the space, and its neutral tone allows flexibility to switch up your decor over time. Great for adding a touch of sophistication and comfort to smaller double beds, it’s a stylish upgrade that balances function and aesthetics effortlessly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
