Its subtle, vibrant shades are created using the traditional tie and dye technique: the skeins of wool are cable knit and then immersed in successive colour baths. Each piece is unique and reveals multiple tonalitieswithin gradations that create a delicate speckled effect. A rug that combines the comfort of wool, the richness of colour and traditional know-how. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years. Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 3800g/m² • Pile height: 30mm. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. • Each piece is handcrafted, according to ancestral know-how. There may therefore be slight variations in colour from one carpet to another.. They contribute to the beauty of each piece and make it unique. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. I love this hand-knotted wool rug for its durability and timeless appeal. Its neutral colour palette makes it versatile enough to anchor a variety of interior styles, from contemporary to cosy traditional spaces. The natural wool material adds texture and warmth, making it particularly suitable for living rooms or bedrooms where comfort is key. Practical styling tips include layering with throws or cushions in complementary colours, and placing it under a coffee table or bed to define the area. Because of its handmade quality, it works beautifully in more relaxed, lived-in interiors but can also elevate a minimalist scheme by adding subtle visual interest.
