Description

Laodikeia is an ancient city located 6 km north of Denizli, Türkiye. It is one of the most important and famous cities of Anatolia in the 1st century. Between 261-263 bc II. It was founded by Antiochus and the city was named after Antiochus' wife, Laodike. During the excavations, the ceiling cassette of the entrance gate to the sanctuary, the Laodicean city goddess Tykhe, was found. It is a three-dimensional glass replica of the statue found in the ruins of Laodicea.

Our Stylist Says

This Laodikeia Queen Relief makes a bold yet sophisticated statement with its sleek black glass finish, offering a modern twist on traditional sculpture. I love it for adding a touch of regal elegance to contemporary or minimalist interiors, especially when paired with neutral colour schemes to let the piece stand out. It works beautifully as a focal point on a mantelpiece or sideboard, but can also be integrated into more eclectic arrangements if styled with complementary metallics or textured materials. For practical tips, consider placing it at eye level on a clean, uncluttered surface to highlight the intricate details, or add subtle lighting to enhance its relief features without overwhelming the space.
