It is offered in a natural wood colour with a matte finish and complemented with solid metal legs. The uniqueness of this range is given by the variations in the wood, together with the natural knots and slight cracks which add to the character and beauty of every piece.

I’m a fan of this live-edge sideboard for its honest, unvarnished grain and solid metal legs - it brings warmth without feeling fussy. It sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired open plan, an industrial warehouse conversion or a pared-back contemporary dining room. For styling, keep the top simple: a low ceramic vase, a stack of design books and a sculptural candleholder will let the wood’s character shine. Tuck baskets or linen-filled trunks underneath to add texture and hide clutter, and balance its organic feel with a crisp white wall or a matte black frame.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
