Description

These heavy-duty steel shelving units from the T-Rax range at Monster Racking are ideal for use in a garage, workshop, office space, utility room or garden shed. These high-quality black and blue racking units are 100% boltless and each of the shelves can hold up to 150kg. Finished with four layers of powder-coated paint this durable racking bay will maintain its excellent condition for longer.

Our Stylist Says

I often turn to these T-Rax heavy-duty shelves when I need something both robust and unfussy. The black steel frame and simple timber boards work particularly well in industrial-style lofts, utility rooms or garage-turned-studios, but they also slot seamlessly into a pared-back home office or modern living room. To style them, play with storage boxes and woven baskets on lower tiers, mix in horizontal stacks of books, and leave a few shelves open for taller items like plants or sculptural pieces. Adjusting the shelf heights lets you tailor the run to everything from large-format art portfolios to small decorative finds.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
