Description

Our handmade melted glass on wood is one of Bali's most unique creations and has become a major trend in places like Holland. The combination of house plants and natural materials is currently very popular, and this product is the perfect match. Crafted by hand in Bali, it combines recycled glass and Balinese Gamal wood to create a striking, molten art glass vase. This piece beautifully merges the best of both worlds the natural and the man-made, earthy and chic, practical and spiritual. The glass is hand-blown and shaped over a piece of Gamal root while still hot, allowing it to harden in the perfect form. Crafted using traditional Balinese hand tools, each piece is unique and offers a perfect setting for stones, air plants, cut flowers, or even a wine decanter. These stunning, natural works of art bring a piece of nature indoors in a beautiful and affordable way.

Our Stylist Says

I love this molten glass candle holder because it adds an interesting focal point thanks to its unique combination of natural wood and contemporary glass. It works well in both rustic and modern interiors, offering a touch of craftsmanship with a sleek finish. For styling, try pairing it with other natural textures such as wicker, linen, or stone for a cosy, layered look. It’s perfect on a side table, mantle, or as a centrepiece on a dining table. Keep the surrounding decor simple to let the piece stand out, and consider using unscented candles to preserve its visual appeal during evening settings.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
