Description
This accent chair combines a mid-century modern style with a warm color tone, which will easily blend with any home decor. The armchair features a solid wood manufactured wood frame for excellent sturdiness and stability. With a cushioned seat and a slanted backrest, you can sit comfortably with a cup of tea and a book. Plus, the low-profile design and extra-long armrest add an extra laid-back feel. A great addition to the living room, bedroom, office, or guestroom of your house or apartment.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this black accent chair for its clean lines and sturdy wooden frame - it sits nicely in both contemporary and Scandi schemes. The low profile and dark finish make it a versatile piece in a monochrome living room or an industrial-style study. To style it, layer a soft, neutral-toned cushion or a subtle patterned throw over the backrest, and place it beside a slim metal side table to balance the look. A light-coloured rug beneath will lift the space and ensure the chair remains the focal point.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
