Price History
Description
Spruce up your bedroom or living room in a streamlined style with a mid-century modern fabric recliner. Founded atop four tapered legs, this piece features a sturdy wooden frame, foam fill, and solid-hued polyester upholstery that is easy to clean and durable. The button-tufted details on the back showcase a touch of texture, and its neutral colour tone can coordinate with any home decor. A fully reclined back and pop-up footrest lets you relax and kick back with a movie after a long day at work.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of this black fabric recliner for its clean lines and adjustable back - it’s comfortable without feeling bulky. The button-tufted detail adds just enough interest to keep it from looking too plain, and the dark upholstery is surprisingly forgiving of everyday wear. This style sits well in contemporary, Scandinavian or industrial schemes. Pair it with a light oak side table and a neutral wool throw for contrast, or place it beside a low-profile sofa to create a cosy reading nook. Keep surrounding accessories minimal - a slim floor lamp and a simple cushion will complete the look without overpowering the chair.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
