Description
This contemporary large bookcase comprises of 3 shelves and 3 drawers. The drawers are made using dovetail joinery techniques and the entire unit is finished in a satin lacquer. This is a very low maintenance modern piece of furniture.

I’m a fan of this oak bookcase for its clean lines and the warmth of the light oak finish - it feels at home in Scandi-inspired, modern farmhouse or understated contemporary schemes. The three drawers at the base keep smaller items tucked away, while the open shelves invite a mix of books, ceramics and greenery without looking cluttered.
For styling, balance rows of upright books with a few horizontal stacks to vary the height. Introduce woven baskets or decorative boxes on one shelf for texture and hidden storage, and leave a little breathing space around each object. A small pot plant or sculptural vase brings life to the wood tones, and a slim picture light or LED strip on the top shelf will showcase your favourite pieces.
