I’ve been using the Pennington mirror in both contemporary and period homes for its sharp, all-glass frame that reflects light without adding visual clutter. Its simple mitred edges suit modern minimal, Scandi and even Art Deco schemes, making it a versatile choice in hallways, living rooms or over a dressing table.
For styling, hang it at eye level above a slim console or floating shelf and flank it with a pair of small wall lights or a sculptural vase to balance the clean lines. In a bathroom, it partners neatly with chrome fittings and white subway tiles. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
