The differences in shades, grains and knots reinforce its character and authenticity.. Over time it may crack slightly. It is a process caused by variations in temperature and humidity. Care Advice • Untreated wood is naturally porous and sensitive to stains. To preserve all its qualities, avoid placing hot or damp objects on the surface, use coasters and trivets. • Note: it is not advisable to place the Merlux side table on a rug, carpet or seagrass flooring as air cannot circulate on this type of flooring and can lead to mould.
