Reinventing the snow globe, Charlotte Bourrus presents London in miniature with this handcrafted New York City Globe. Each city is an interpretation by the artist, filled with narrative insight and personal stories. Made by hand in a French family workshop in Biarritz, each globe is a work of art in itself, presented in a labelled and signed box. Based on the principle of collectables, Charlotte Bourrus celebrates anecdotal details, visually telling the story of our world through maps, illustrations and handcrafted terrariums. Originally a graphic designer, Bourrus draws inspiration from books, guides and stories, working with collage to create worlds in miniature. Please note: there is an increased delivery charge on this item due to it's fragility.
