Our Stylist Says
I love the Maren Spotlight Gold because it adds a modern, industrial touch with a chic metallic finish that’s versatile across various interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary, minimalist, or urban-inspired spaces, providing both functional lighting and a stylish statement piece. For practical styling, consider placing it in kitchens, open-plan living areas, or hallways where directed task or ambient lighting is needed. Pair it with sleek, understated decor to highlight its gold finish without overwhelming the space, and ensure the bulbs are colour-coordinated to maintain a cohesive look. This fitting can effortlessly elevate the aesthetic while delivering excellent illumination, making it a smart choice for both form and function.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
