Description
Interlocking design. Very elegant, the Lisbon floor lamp offers a superb mix of materials: polished brass, varnished metal and marble base. It consists of a polished brass spire with a ball on the end, topped off with three superimposed ivory-coloured metal lampshades. The upper edge of the lampshades is decorated with delicate perforations. The simple, curved shapes are superimposed, creating an architectural volume. Their clean-cut, geometric silhouette is both forceful and well-balanced. The foot is anchored in a luxurious white marble base that’s both stable and robust. The lampshade on top distributes the light while the one below filters it. Its indirect lighting is soft and pleasant. While this silhouette evokes classic Scandinavian design lighting (like that of Denmark’s Poul Henningsen), the Lisbon lamp is embellished with graphic details that give it character.
