Description

This is not your grandma’s herbal tea, but a vibrant homage to the uplifting side of the verbena leaf... Zesty Kaffir Lime glistens atop a fresh and earthy blend of Eucalyptus, Galbanum and Violet Leaves. Then, a luscious floral bouquet and woods create an effusive aromatic harmony aimed to diffuse a feeling of peace into your home... Like the rest of our collection, Verveine 32 candle is soy wax based and uses a pure cotton wick. Our candles are 100% soy wax and use pure cotton wicks. They are hand-poured in Mississippi, highly dosed with perfume, and weigh 245g with a burning time of 60 hours. Please read the labels on our candles and don't forget to trim the wicks!

Our Stylist Says

I love this candle for its fresh, clean scent that complements a variety of interior styles without overpowering the space. It works especially well in minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired interiors due to its understated elegance and simple glass jar. To style it effectively, place it on a neat tray or stack with some natural elements like a small vase of greenery or a stack of books for a curated look. Because of its versatile scent profile, it’s ideal for living rooms or bathrooms, where it can create a calming, inviting atmosphere. Practical tip: pair it with other neutral-toned accessories or textured textiles to enhance its subtle sophistication.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
