Description

Experience the utmost in comfort with our Knitted Waffle Throw in Natural, ideal for dreamy neutral colour schemes. This luxury throw combines a classic waffle knit pattern with a soft sherpa reverse lining, ensuring maximum warmth and coziness. Snuggle up on the sofa or add an extra layer to your bedding with this must-have accessory, ideal for living rooms and bedrooms.

Our Stylist Says

I love this knitted waffle throw for its cosy texture and neutral hue, making it an effortless addition to a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary, Scandi, or rustic schemes where the tactile fabric adds warmth without feeling heavy. Practical styling tips include draping it over a sofa or armchair for instant comfort or folding it neatly at the foot of a bed for a relaxed, inviting look. Its subtle pattern also helps to add visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it a versatile accessory that combines function with understated style.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
