Description

Elevate your home s cosiness with the Chevron Faux Fur Throw in Cream, a beautifully soft accent that blends comfort with understated elegance. The creamy hue brightens darker palettes and softens lighter ones, while the chevron detailing introduces a subtle design twist. Perfect for layering across furniture, this 130x170cm throw is a stylish way to stay snug during cooler months.

Our Stylist Says

The Chevron Faux Fur Throw in cream is a smart choice for adding texture and cosy warmth to a range of interiors. I love how its neutral tone pairs well with both modern and classic schemes, bringing a subtle elegance without overpowering the space. It works particularly well layered over sofas or beds in living rooms and bedrooms, giving a relaxed yet polished look. For styling tips, try folding it neatly at the foot of the bed for a sophisticated touch, or casually draping it over a sofa arm to create an inviting feel. Its plush, faux fur texture adds visual interest and comfort, making it a versatile piece that enhances the overall ambience of any room.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
