Description

A small vanity stool. A light simple, yet sturdy design, with a soft cushioned seat. Makes an idea companion to a desk or vanity. The Kent range uses traditional edge finishes and wood effect tops, to create a range of classic looking furniture pieces. Contrasting finishes create the tonal variations seen here with brushed steel handle mounted on wood grained fronts. All our furniture is made in the United Kingdom, to the highest quality. It is delivered direct to your location of choice by one of our two man delivery teams, and come full assembled (although legs may be removed to prevent damage in transit).

I’m a fan of the Kent stool for its clean lines and muted dusk-grey finish teamed with warm Bardolino oak - it slips effortlessly into Scandi-inspired, contemporary or even farmhouse settings. Its compact footprint makes it ideal for a hallway or dressing area, and the neutral tones work well against both pale and darker walls. For styling, tuck a small faux-sheepskin or linen cushion on the seat to add texture, or position the stool under a slim console table to keep your space feeling uncluttered. You can also use it as an extra perch in open-plan living areas - it complements natural materials like jute rugs and rattan baskets without drawing too much attention.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
