Description

Anyone who has a TV plus all the related tech like viewing boxes, gaming equipment and control boxes is familiar with the ongoing problem of how to house it all without dominating the living space. Most will settle for a bland but practical TV unit when as this Kendal Large TV Unit shows it's not the only option. This large unit puts the chic into country, combining grooved panels, shelves and plinth in either slate blue or cool grey with a substantial oak-effect top that's ideal for a larger TV. The central open shelving section is flanked by a pair of door-fronted units, ideal for viewing equipment, media and accessories.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this slate-blue Kendal TV unit for its clean lines and the contrast between the painted body and the oak-effect top, which adds warmth without feeling fussy. It sits comfortably in contemporary or Scandi-inspired living rooms, and the muted blue tone works equally well against neutral walls or teamed with pale grey for a tonal scheme. Styling-wise, use the central shelves for a pair of matching baskets to hide cables and consoles, then balance them with a couple of low-profile decorative objects or books. On top, keep the look simple - a flat-screen TV, a small plant or two and a slimline picture frame - so the unit’s structure stays the star.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
