Description

Light in form and light in ecological footprint, the Kata armchair is designed with circular sustainability in mind. Kata is inspired by handcrafted Wood and Woven straw chairs, and reimagines this universal typology using contemporary, sustainable solutions in a warm expression. Kata finds its form in juxtaposition - an evocative gesture in the movement between material presence and minimal silhouette, softness and strength, tradition and technology. Kata Lounge combines traditional craftsmanship with gentle technology, and is suitable for a wide range of applications, from residential to contract. The solid wood structure supports a delicately woven 3D Fabric. This upholstery is made from post-consumer polyester yarns transformed into lightweight, durable fibers. The Fabric has been technologically designed to adapt perfectly to the seat stem, minimizing material waste. The 3D Knitting weave is dressed in a graphic pattern. The Kata collection is FSC-certified, with construction techniques and easy disassembly designed for greater sustainable impact. Comfort can be enhanced with optional Cushions. Our Stylist Says

I really like this armchair because of its clean lines and approachable silhouette, making it a versatile choice for both modern and Scandi-inspired interiors. The beige textile combined with recycled 3D fabric adds a tactile element that feels contemporary yet sustainable, perfect for spaces aiming for eco-conscious design. It works well in living rooms, lounges, or even cosy reading nooks. To style it effectively, consider pairing with textured throws or cushions in muted tones to enhance its natural aesthetic, and place it alongside other light woods or neutral palettes for a cohesive look. Its understated design makes it easy to integrate, offering both comfort and style without overpowering the space.
