Description

Componibili Bio is the latest iteration of Kartell's storage side table. Ongoing research and innovation in industrial processes enabled the design of this table, which is produced with a bio-polymer made from renewable raw materials, derived from non-GMO agricultural waste not intended for the food chain. It conforms with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and has obtained international TÜV Austria certification with the maximum star rating. Its stacked, three storage structure is compact, functional and incredibly sturdy and available in a matt finish. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little side table for its clean, contemporary lines and versatile design. The cream finish makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors, from minimalist and Scandi to more eclectic spaces. Its compact size and practical drawers make it ideal for bedside tables, living room storage or even as a stylish plant stand. When styling, consider pairing it with textured textiles or gentle colour accents to soften its modern look, or keep it stark for a more pared-back aesthetic. It works particularly well in neutral-toned schemes or alongside other natural materials like wood or linen, adding both functionality and a sleek visual touch.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
