I’m a fan of the Adam wood shelving for its pared-back frame and rich walnut finish - it brings warmth without feeling bulky. The slim black uprights make it at home in Scandi, industrial or contemporary schemes, and the five tiers give plenty of room for books, plants and ceramics.
For styling, vary your layouts: stack a few titles flat, top them with a small vase or sculpture, then balance with vertical rows of paperbacks. Add a couple of woven baskets on the lowest shelf to hide cables or clutter, and finish with a trailing plant or two to soften the overall look.
