Not every vase can be a work of art, however beautiful and stylish, but in the case of the Gala from the New York Designer Jonathan Adler such a claim is well founded. It was inspired by Gala, who was the wife and muse of the influential Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali, and it features distinctly Dali-esque touches executed in Adler's own signature style. His usual geometric stylings are replaced with a repeating relief pattern of lips, and the white glaze is decorated with enormous wit and invention: bright pink tongues, dollar signs and cartoonish moustaches make this a memorable, unique and immensely amusing piece. *Moot Trading Ltd is not a lender and acts only as an introducer. I love the Jonathan Adler Gala Vase for its playful and contemporary edge; it acts as both a functional piece and a statement decor item. Its bold, whimsical design works well in modern or eclectic interiors, adding a pop of colour and personality to sideboards, consoles or open shelving. For styling tips, consider balancing its quirky aesthetic with more neutral surroundings or pair it with simple greenery or printed stems to really make it stand out. Keep in mind that this vase is versatile enough to be displayed as a standalone focal point or layered with other decorative objects to create an engaging vignette.
