Description

An attractive curved design, our Rye garden furniture has the look and feel of traditional woven garden furniture but with long-lasting quality. The intricate handwoven design takes several days to produce and looks at home in conservatories and outdoor spaces. The 5mm round weave has a natural willow effect. All our handwoven furniture ranges are made from synthetic wicker. This looks like natural wicker but has the advantage of being weatherproof, low maintenance, and resistant to both UV light and tearing. Key features: Round 70cm garden bistro table with room for two Handwoven, 5mm round synthetic wicker Robust aluminium frame Tinted glass top tempered for strength Matches garden furniture in our Rye range Garden furniture care: To keep your outdoor furniture in the best condition, store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated spot indoors over the winter. If it's staying outside, use an outdoor furniture cover whenever the weather is wet or unseasonal. Make sure furniture is clean and dry before storing it away. Choose the perfect outdoor furniture We have a vast selection of furniture for you to choose from which will suit the home or garden. The majority of our furniture ranges have been hand woven using a synthetic wicker. The thinner the weave, the longer it takes for the skilled workers to complete. Our Stylist Says

I love how this grey woven bistro table brings a relaxed, contemporary feel without dominating a small outdoor spot. Its neutral tone and rattan-style weave work equally well in a Scandi-inspired balcony, a coastal terrace or a modern courtyard, and the glass-topped surface keeps things easy to wipe clean. Styling-wise, pair it with slim-profile metal or matching wicker chairs and layer in a weather-proof cushion for comfort. A compact planter of succulents or herbs makes a simple centrepiece, while a small outdoor rug and a couple of solar lanterns will define the area and add warmth come evening.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
