I’m a fan of the Athens bar set for its clean-lined silhouette and warm acacia-effect top against matte black legs - it feels both industrial and Scandi. It sits well in open-plan kitchens or compact breakfast nooks, especially with pale walls and simple pendant lighting. To style, add a couple of low-back bar stools in a contrasting finish, tuck in slim plant pots along the edge and keep accessories minimal (think a neat tray with coffee cups and a small vase) so the natural grain effect remains the focus.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
