The legs attach to a metal disc that supports the socket and white textured linen shade for easy assembly. A decorative brown fabric-covered cord hangs down from the socket. An in-line switch controls the on/off of the 10W LED bulb. This lamp is smart outlet compatible. Bulb not included.

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
