Description

Create a gallery wall of floral prints with this colourful trio from Fiona Howard. The three prints of flowers in vases are unframed and require poster frames for wall-mounting. British designer Fiona Howard trained at Middlesex University and now works from her beautiful Regency studio overlooking the sea in Brighton and from her Los Angeles studio in Venice Beach. Over the last 25 years, she has built an international reputation in home furnishing textile design and prints, working closely with clients, travelling between London, Paris, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Fiona is inspired by an eclectic mix of influences, such as Japanese art, 50s textiles, Indian woodblock prints, the designers Lucienne Day and William Morris, illustrators Edward Bawden and Robert Tavener, exciting finds at antique fairs, travels to India and Marrakech. Artisanship and skills sit at the heart of Fiona's work. She meticulously colours handmade Japanese papers to create her distinctive colour palette. Filling numerous sketchbooks with preparatory drawings, she then translates these into repeating patterns. Employing lino print, monoprint, painterly and cut paper techniques, everything is created by hand, nothing is computer-generated giving each design the quality of fine art. Fiona has regularly exhibited her work at Made, Brighton's Design and Craft fair, The Brighton Artists Open studios and has also exhibited her prints at The Brighton Art Fair. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings ? With great prices and great design, our new brand offers style and quality for modern living today. Whatever you need, there's joy to be found in ANYDAY.

Our Stylist Says

I love this set of three Fiona Howard prints for their bold, contemporary feel and versatile size, making them ideal for adding a splash of colour and interest to various interiors. They work particularly well in modern, minimalist spaces where they can serve as visual focal points or complement neutral palettes, but they also bring a playful touch to more eclectic or bohemian schemes. Practical styling tips include grouping them in a prominent spot like above a sofa or sideboard, or creating a gallery wall by pairing them with other art or prints. Their vibrant hues and lively design make them perfect as standalone statement pieces or as part of a curated display, bringing a fresh, floral vibe to your home.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
