Description

Illuminate your walls in style with the Hayley Sculpt Wall Light. Featuring a faux silk shade in satin grey, the swirling sculptural design adds an artistic flair to your decor, while the chrome finish complements modern interiors. Enjoy the soft and diffused lighting for a cosy atmosphere, looking ideal when styled in pairs on either side of a bed, mirror, or hallway.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this wall light combines sleek, modern chrome with the soft touch of faux silk in the shade, making it both functional and refined. It works beautifully in contemporary or minimalist interiors, adding a subtle touch of sophistication without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other chrome accents for a cohesive look or using it to highlight artwork or architectural features in living rooms and bedrooms. Hanging it at eye level next to a mirror or over bedside tables ensures it offers both ambient and task lighting, while the neutral shade makes it versatile enough to complement a range of colour schemes.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
