Jennifer Flush Ceiling Light with Mixed Cut Glass, Chrome

Our Stylist Says

I love this chandelier-style ceiling light for adding a touch of glamour to any space. Its mixed cut glass and chrome finish make it a versatile piece that can elevate both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works especially well in hallways, living rooms, or bedrooms where you want a statement lighting feature. Styling tips include pairing it with understated wall colours and minimalistic furniture to let the light fixture be the focal point, or adding complementary glass or metallic accents elsewhere in the room for a cohesive look. Practicality-wise, it’s a good choice for rooms with high ceilings to really showcase its eye-catching design. Overall, it’s a stylish and timeless addition that can easily transform a space by adding elegance and shimmer.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
