Description

Add an art deco accent to your kitchen island with the Lyna Ceiling Diner Pendant Bar. The smoked glass shades of this pendant light bar bring a chic warm glow to any room. The satin brass finish adds a sophisticated element to the Lyna.

Our Stylist Says

I love the minimalist yet sophisticated look of the Lyna ceiling diner with smoked glass shades and satin brass detailing. It’s a versatile piece that works particularly well in contemporary and industrial-inspired interiors, offering a warm, inviting glow while making a stylish statement. For practical styling tips, consider hanging it over a kitchen island or dining table where its three pendants can be adjusted for balanced lighting. Pairing it with neutral tones or contrasting textures like matte blacks or natural woods can really help it stand out. Keep the decor understated around it to let the pendant’s sleek design do the talking.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
