Description

Bring a rustic feel to your home décor with the Inar Ceramic Table Lamp. This table lamp features a painted white doily-inspired etched design for a handcrafted aesthetic that looks ideal in neutral colour schemes. It also comes in a natural finish with a vase shaped based and a natural linen lampshade which diffuses a gorgeous warm glow into the room, ideal for styling on bedside tables in boho interior design.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this lamp for its versatile, understated appeal. The ceramic base provides a natural, textured look that works well in both contemporary and rustic interiors. Its neutral tone means it can be paired effortlessly with a variety of colour schemes, making it great for side tables, consoles, or even bedroom bedside tables. For styling tips, consider layering with other natural materials like wood or linen to create a cohesive look. Additionally, positioning it in a sunlit corner can highlight the subtle detailing of the base, while a soft, warm bulb will give it a cosy glow-perfect for adding ambient lighting in living rooms or bedrooms.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
