Art deco style for this refined and minimalist lamp composed of a blown-glass sphere balancing on a fine metal holder with sharp angles. A sculptural and sophisticated light construction exploring the theme of balance. Michael Anastassiades, a Cypriot designer based in London explains: "I came across a video of a juggler. He was spinning a set of balls, moving them along his arms to his fingertips. And as I was fascinated by the magic of his art, suddenly the balls seemed perfectly still. I wanted to capture this precise moment. It was my starting point. " The initials IC come from the codes that the English police use in their reports to define the ethnic background of people who they stop in the street: IC1 for a Northern European individual, IC2 for an Hispanic person, IC3 for an Afro-Caribbean person, etc. It is a fun way of defining the different models of this collection.
