Description
Sublime comfort. Created by Danish designer Simon Legald, the Hyg seating series stands out with its organic, generous curves. The name given to this collection comes from the Danish "hygge" concept, which is synonymous with well-being, comfort, safety and warmth: everything we find in the DNA of Hyg. This swivel chair consists of a large polypropylene shell. Its ample shape has been designed to provide optimal seating comfort. With its lines both soft and solid, the shell envelops you comfortably while supporting the back perfectly. The 4-legged base is made of aluminium. Simon Legald explains: “Those times when we sit together, launch into a conversation and share a meal - for me, this is where the hygge feeling really reaches its climax. So it seemed natural that the Hyg range should provide a setting for such moments. The feeling of hygge is not just related to visual design experience – it’s the overall sensual experience. Much effort has gone into sculpting the shape to provide rest and support to the human body, to provide it with optimal seating comfort. ”.
