This dinnerware project designed by Ctrlzak collective reflects on the historical production of Chinese and European Bone China and its centuries of fertilization between western and eastern aesthetics. Produced in Tangshan, the renowned ""capital of Bone China, refined by hand, the piece decorations are sliced in half, creating new hybrids that juxtapose scenes and themes interpreted in the respective cultural imaginary. Bone China is a type of porcelain that is composed of bone ash, feldspathic material and kaolin. Contemporary forms to symbolize a complex past.
I love the hybrid Adelma vase for its bold, eclectic aesthetic-it’s the perfect statement piece that adds a pop of colour and personality to any space. Its multicoloured design makes it highly versatile, working well in both contemporary and more playful interiors. For styling, I suggest pairing it with simple greenery or fresh blooms to let the vase’s unique pattern really stand out. It works particularly well in minimalist schemes where it can serve as a focal point, or in eclectic interiors that celebrate colour and texture. Placing it on a mantle, coffee table, or open shelf creates an eye-catching display and keeps the vibrant design centre stage.
