Inspired by Scandi style, the Copenhagen rug from Homescapes is woven from 100percent cotton and features a bold geometric print. On a white background, Copenhagen is made up of a triangular geometric pattern in yellow, light blue and grey. Finished with fringed ends, Copenhagen will add some laid back style to your living room, bedroom, dining room or study. It is also available as a hall runner size, so you can spruce up your landing or hallway for a welcoming entrance. Woven from cotton, this rug has been lovingly handmade on a traditional loom. Strong and durable, the Copenhagen rug is suitable for daily use and is available in four sizes, small (90 x 150 cm), medium (120 x 170 cm), large (160 x 230 cm) and a hall runner size (66 x 200 cm). Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
