Description

Our Holyrood sofa style day bed is the perfect combo of practical and stylish. Ideal for flats, apartments and offices, day beds are a fantastic option due to their versatile functionality. Day Beds look like a sofa with their front design and armrests, which serves as a seating area for the daytime. The clever part is the seating area fits a standard UK single mattress, and so transforms into a bed when you're ready to sleep! Upholstered in smooth charcoal grey fabric, with tufted detail on the back and sidearms. The bed also features wooden block legs, and then the pull out guest bed is on castors for ease.

Our Stylist Says

I love this day bed for its versatile design and practical features, making it a great choice for both everyday use and guest accommodation. The charcoal grey fabric is not only neutral but also adds a sophisticated touch, working well in contemporary, minimal, or industrial interiors. Its pull-out guest trundle maximises space, ideal for smaller rooms or open-plan living areas. To style it effectively, consider adding layered bedding with textured throws and a mix of cushions for a cosy look. Position it against a plain wall and complement with artwork or side lamps to create a welcoming space that balances function with style.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
