Description

This rustic-styled solid wood guest bed is the perfect addition to a cosy guest bedroom. The Tomas has three spacious drawers ideal for stowing away any spare bedding. It also features a pull-out trundle that can be used as an additional drawer or extra bed for sleepovers or multiple guests. Available in natural warm honey, cool grey, or solid white finish, with an eco-friendly non-toxic coating. The Tomas is made of solid Scandinavian certified pine. Pine from the Scandinavian regions grows much slower due to the cold climate making it straighter with fewer knots, meaning it is perfect for building strong durable furniture made to last.

Our Stylist Says

The Tomas Captain Bed Grey is a practical and versatile choice for contemporary interiors, particularly in spaces where multifunctionality is key. I love its clean, neutral colour which allows it to seamlessly blend into minimalist, Scandi, or even transitional schemes. It works well in multifunctional rooms such as guest bedrooms or home offices, providing both a comfortable resting place and discreet storage with its pull-out drawers. Styling tips include keeping bedding simple with crisp linens and adding cosy throws or cushions for a lived-in feel. Pair it with light wood or metallic accents to enhance its modern appeal, and consider layering with a rug and some curated accessories to personalise your space without cluttering it.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
