Description
The multitasker of the lighting world has arrived. The Hiru floor lamp pairs a tall wooden frame with three built-in shelves for all your bits and bobs, then finishes with a large drum shade that puts out the cosiest glow going. It's a lamp. It's a bookcase. It's the reason your room finally looks pulled together. Function met its match in this one.
Our Stylist Says
I love the way this floor lamp combines natural textures with a modern, geometric design-perfect for adding warmth and visual interest to a variety of interiors. The bamboo shade brings a soft, diffused light that’s ideal for creating cosy atmospheres in living rooms or bedrooms. It works particularly well in boho, scandi, and coastal styles, where natural materials are key. For styling tips, try positioning it near statement seating areas or as an accent piece in a reading nook. Pair it with neutral tones and layered textures, or use its earthy vibe to add contrast to more contemporary or minimalist spaces. It’s a versatile piece that effortlessly blends function with style.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
