Description

Create a warm and inviting atmosphere with the Lea Wooden Floor Lamp in Natural, a perfect blend of simplicity and elegance. Crafted from natural wood, this floor lamp boasts a sleek, minimalist frame that complements a range of decor styles. The fabric shade softens the light, making it ideal for ambient lighting in cosy living spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wooden floor lamp for its clean, natural look that easily complements a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in Scandi, minimalist, or rustic spaces where its warmth and simplicity can really shine. The neutral tones make it versatile for both cosy corners and more open, airy rooms. My styling tip would be to pair it with textured textiles or subtle décor in earthy shades to enhance its natural aesthetic. For practical layering, place it beside a comfy armchair or sofa to create an inviting reading nook without overpowering the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
