Description
The beautifully minimal green Hi Pad Chair was designed by Jasper Morrison in 1999 and is the perfect distillation of the traditional dining chair. Created for Cappellini, the Hi Pad Chair is crafted from beech and birch plywood, bent in to the unique shape of the frame, and upholstered with moulded multi-density polyurethane foam. This forward-thinking use of moulded materials awards the chair with a supremely supportive and comfortable construction, ideal for any living area or workspace. After graduating from the Royal College of Art, designer Jasper Morrison opened his first design studio in 1986, forging a lasting design partnership with Cappellini shortly afterwards. Characterised by intelligent simplicity, Morrison's designs exhibit refined minimalism and chic, functional clean-lined silhouettes.
