I’m a fan of the Hever table for its two-tone look - a warm oak-effect top set on clean white legs - which works equally well in a modern farmhouse, Scandi-inspired or coastal scheme. Keep styling simple with a linen runner, jute placemats and a ceramic jug of fresh foliage, or swap in upholstered chairs at the ends for a slightly more formal feel. The bench option knocks out extra seating without clutter, and the painted frame is easy to wipe down after busy family meals.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
