Price History

Description

Bring an elegant pop of colour into your bedroom with this bold jade coloured bedspread, which has a herringbone texture for an extra layer of depth in the décor’s designs. This bedspread is ideal for those cold winter night, helping you to keep warm and cosy for a great night’s sleep. With a large 250x260cm size, the bedspread is a great fit for any bed!.

Our Stylist Says

I love the herringbone bedspread in jade for adding a sophisticated texture to a bedroom. Its classic herringbone pattern lends a timeless appeal that pairs well with both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in neutrally styled rooms where it can introduce a subtle pattern and colour pop without overwhelming the space. For practical styling, layer it over crisp white linens or pair with darker bedding to create a layered look. The vibrant jade hue adds a fresh, lively feel, making it ideal for spring and summer schemes, but it can also serve as a statement piece in muted, cosy bedrooms with neutral tones. It’s a versatile that can be easily refreshed with complementary cushions or throws to customise your look.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
