I’d reach for the Oslo table whenever I want a clean, natural focal point in a dining or workspace. Its chamfered-edge oak top and sturdy trestle legs suit Scandi-inspired, minimalist or modern farmhouse interiors and won’t look out of place in a more contemporary setting, either. To style it, keep accessories simple: a low ceramic vase with seasonal foliage or a trio of tapered candles on a woven runner. Pair it with mixed seating - perhaps slatted oak chairs at the sides and a bench either end - then hang a single, oversized pendant lamp centrally to emphasise its generous length.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
