The dimmable Kabuki Floor Lamp was designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2016 for Kartell and is available in three different colours. Kartell uses innovative injection moulding technology to create the lamp’s striking lace-like texture. When lit, light diffuses through the holes to cast a unique series of shadows on the surrounding walls. Available in Black, White and Crystal. Uses injection moulding technology to achieve a unique perforated surface. Also available as a table lamp for a cohesive look.
I love the Heal’s Kabuki LED floor lamp for its sculptural quality and clean, minimalist aesthetic. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandi-inspired interiors, where its simple yet striking design can serve as both a functional light source and a statement piece. Practical styling tips include placing it in a corner beside a sofa or armchair to add height and visual interest, or using it to complement a neutral colour palette for a touch of texture and modernity. Its soft, ambient light makes it ideal for creating cosy reading nooks or to subtly elevate a pared-back, stylish space.
