The Hampton oak table comes complete with 4 Lola wave back fabric dining chairs, fully upholstered in medium-density foam and lush grey velvet fabric, featuring solid oak wood legs, hardwood frame and a sprung seat for exceptional comfort and durability. The Lola dining chairs require no assembly. Built to last, the Hampton oak dining table is finished in a clear non-gloss lacquer. The lacquer helps seal and protect the natural oak timber as well as enhancing the appearance of the wood grain on each perfectly crafted panel of this wooden dining table set. As any fine craftsman will tell you, the inlaid grooves on the tabletop prevent bowing by accommodating any natural expansion in the solid oak wood. It’s a sign of quality construction, so don’t settle for anything less. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
