Measuring 140 x 90cm as standard, the Richmond oak dining table extends to an impressive 220cm using two 40cm extension panels that pull out at each end of the table. When not in use, the extension leaves slide neatly back under the table top. The Richmond oak extending dining table comes complete with 4 Lola dining room chairs, fully upholstered in a soft velvet like grey fabric on a solid hardwood frame with oak legs. Not only are these chairs strong and sturdy they also provide the ultimate in comfort with their spring and belt seat construction and medium density foam padding. Each chair comes fully assembled ready to use. Inlaid grooves on the table top allow for natural expansion of the wood over time and prevent bowing, a sure sign of quality design. The oak timber is sealed in a clear lacquer protecting and enhancing the appearance of the wood grain and making this oak extendable dining table and chairs set easy to clean and maintain using a damp cloth. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
